This property is less about "just storage space" and more about creating a harmonious overall picture. The black garden shed is located at the back and blends in so well that at first glance it is hardly recognisable as a tool shed. Black window frames, built-in spotlights, railings and other elements on the house pick up on the same colour tone – the garden shed fits in with this style instead of standing out as a visual foreign body in the garden.
The Japanese-inspired garden with gravel areas, green islands and clear edges forms the framework. The garden shed completes this area and supports the design instead of competing with it. The presence of the colour black is offset by its consistent repetition in the house, the garden and the garden shed itself.
The proportions, position and choice of colour are coordinated so that the shed continues the lines of the architecture. It completes the concept of glass, metal, dark details and minimalist design.
This reference shows that a garden shed can also work in a very architecturally demanding environment: it takes on its function in the background, blends into the design and contributes to a harmonious overall picture.
