This project in Munich solved a particular architectural challenge: an open wall niche on an exposed roof terrace needed to be transformed into a protected storage unit. After taking measurements on site, a custom-made construction was developed consisting of a precisely fitting wall element and a smooth-running sliding door. This minimalist intervention is sufficient to turn an unused niche into a fully-fledged, weatherproof retreat for terrace accessories. Especially in the exposed location of a roof garden, this custom-made terrace cabinet offers the necessary protection from wind and weather that conventional solutions cannot guarantee.
Installation on a roof terrace often requires special logistics and experience in assembly. Thanks to precise prefabrication, assembly times were kept short and the sliding door for closing the niche was installed immediately. The result is an aesthetically pleasing integration into the existing architecture, which sustainably increases the living value of the outdoor area through additional order and functionality. This niche solution proves once again that our systems offer maximum flexibility with minimum space requirements.
