Two things are essential for designing living spaces: planning skills and creativity. Combining both can lead to great results, including useful storage space. After examining extension options, our garden shed was considered as a possibility for this project – and after comparing the expected costs with those of a solid construction, the decision was quickly made in favour of our solution. The garden shed, which we manufactured to the exact dimensions requested, was thus designed as a building extension and constructed as an annex. An opening in the interior provides access to this storage space and makes it accessible in all seasons and weather conditions without getting your feet wet. The storage of firewood, brooms, buckets, shovels, watering cans and garden utensils rounds off the versatility of use in the outdoor area. The choice of a bronze rust look echoes the stone flooring and, at the same time, bridges the gap between the exterior colours of grey-brown and anthracite, both of which are used on the property.
