This anthracite garden shed was built on an existing surface that was not perfectly level. The substructure with height-adjustable feet compensates for unevenness, so that the shed stands perfectly upright even though the ground has slight differences in height. This means that an existing terrace or older paving can be put to good use without having to rebuild everything.
Inside, there is plenty of space for tools, furniture and accessories. The sliding door provides convenient access without the need for additional space for a door swing – practical if the area in front of the shed is also to be paved and used as a manoeuvring or working area.
Visually, the anthracite-coloured garden shed adds a modern accent in front of the more traditional house in the background. The smooth HPL surfaces and clean lines form a deliberate contrast to the existing appearance without being obtrusive. Windows and a sliding door allow sufficient daylight into the interior and make the storage space highly usable.
The result is a solution that reuses existing space, creates functional storage space and at the same time enhances the design of the surroundings – without major intervention in the existing situation.
