In this reference, the material is clearly the focus: genuine Corten steel – 2 mm thick. The façade displays the typical vibrant surface with different colour nuances and slight spots – exactly what makes this surface so interesting. You can also clearly see the difference between the areas that have already rusted and the area on the back, which is still catching up. With the right treatment, the panel catches up visually within 48 hours until a uniform appearance is achieved.
In combination with the ESG glazing, the result is a garden shed that does not simply 'disappear', but deliberately sets accents. The Corten steel has a warm and powerful effect, while the glass takes away some of the heaviness and brings light into the interior. For anyone who likes Corten steel, this is a very clear, honest appearance.
