This garden shed with outdoor shower was specifically designed for a pool area where technology and use should be clearly separated. The structure is designed to be "around the corner": behind the sliding door on the left is all the pool technology, while on the right is a sheltered area for outdoor showering. This creates a clear technical room with a garden shed and, at the same time, a separate place to shower after swimming – right by the pool, without additional components in the garden.
In the right-hand area, the outdoor shower is integrated into the wall. The shower pipes and fittings run into the left-hand technical area, where they are neatly installed and protected from the weather together with the rest of the pool technology. From the outside, the structure remains calm and closed, while on the right-hand side there is a niche where you can shower outdoors without being on display.
To ensure that the wood in the shower area remains permanently protected, the interior surface of the garden shed around the outdoor shower is clad with HPL. The material is moisture-resistant, easy to clean and echoes the clear design language of the exterior façade. Where the ESG glazing is located, the HPL cladding has been deliberately omitted – allowing plenty of daylight to enter the shower area without compromising privacy.
The result is a garden shed with an outdoor shower that is tailored to the pool in terms of both function and design: on the left, the pool technology disappears behind the sliding door, while on the right, there is a bright, protected outdoor shower area.
No impregnating, sanding or painting - never again thanks to HPL!
