This garden shed with passageway fits perfectly between the two fence posts and makes full use of the space provided. Access from the pavement to the property is retained, while at the same time creating a protected storage space for garden tools, cushions and accessories.
Space has been deliberately left free in front of the garden shed. This allows items to be stored, sorted or cleaned temporarily without having to stand directly on the flowerbed or lawn. Anyone fetching something from the garden shed has enough space to manoeuvre or potter about – an advantage that is quickly appreciated in everyday life.
The level in the area of the garden shed has been slightly lowered compared to the house. Flower beds have been created on the left and right, which will later be seeded with lawn. This means that the white garden shed has a discreet appearance despite its function and blends into the green space. It does not protrude above the hedge and remains visually in the background.
The ESG glazing allows daylight to enter the interior without making the effect towards the street too overwhelming. The result is a garden shed with a passageway that combines access, storage space and a small work area, making good use of the narrow space between the street and the garden.
