In Arbon on Lake Constance, this project was realised on an existing foundation that previously held a conventional model. The new HPL garden shed impresses with its bright white façade and generous ESG glazing, which continues seamlessly into the sliding door. A special feature of the design is the conscious consideration of the surroundings: while the front enhances the owner's garden as a modern eye-catcher, the rear has been designed in a dark colour. This colour choice ensures that the building recedes visually behind the bushes and shrubs from the adjacent property and blends discreetly into the boundary development.
A garden shed with a sliding door in this configuration not only offers maximum convenience when storing items, but also an extraordinary visual lightness thanks to the large glazed area. The use of high-quality HPL panels guarantees that it is completely maintenance-free, which is a decisive advantage, especially near Lake Constance with its changing weather conditions. In contrast to the wooden predecessor building, regular painting is completely unnecessary here. This means that the brilliant appearance is permanently preserved, while the building, as a weatherproof spatial element, complements the architecture of the property in the long term and retains its value.
