A project has been completed in Aichtal that breaks the boundaries of conventional prefabricated solutions and shows how every square metre can be utilised through thoughtful planning. This modern, custom-made garden shed impresses with its completely individual, non-rectangular floor plan. The structure was designed to follow a sloping property boundary while precisely avoiding a corner of the existing residential building. This recess allows the building to nestle against the wall of the house without leaving any valuable space unused. Such complex geometries require highly accurate measurements and flexible manufacturing to ensure a visually clean and technically flawless connection to the existing architecture.

The extension variant: direct access and intelligent use of space

A key advantage of this design is that it is an extension solution. As the modern, made-to-measure garden shed is directly adjacent to the residential building, it provides protected and direct access from the entrance area of the property. This greatly increases everyday convenience, as distances are shortened and stored equipment such as bicycles or garden tools are immediately to hand. The use of HPL panels ensures extremely high weather resistance, which is particularly important when directly connected to the house façade in order to avoid moisture problems and guarantee a permanently attractive appearance. The simple colour choice and flush design make the extension look like an integral part of the building and enhance the architecture of the entire entrance area, while providing maximum organised storage space inside.
