This combination of single-door tall cabinets and a sideboard impressively demonstrates how functional storage space can enrich everyday life on the terrace. The design highlight here is the sideboard, which not only serves as a visual anchor, but also offers valuable storage space for decorations or as a serving table when entertaining guests. A special functional detail is hidden inside: the sideboard deliberately does not have a shelf to create space for a table grill. This means that the appliance can be conveniently placed on the top panel when in use and, after barbecuing, can be stowed away out of sight and protected from the weather in no time at all. This tailor-made adaptation ensures a tidy appearance at all times without compromising on culinary convenience.
In addition to its high functionality, this project impresses with its aesthetic integration into the architectural environment. The minimalist design of the HPL modules blends seamlessly into the design of the terrace and forms an exciting contrast to the striking old rose wall colour and the vibrant green plants in the raised beds. Located in the immediate vicinity of the covered terrace, this creates a harmonious overall picture that sets modern standards, especially in urban spaces.
