This large-scale project features an intelligent room layout that goes far beyond the functions of a conventional equipment shed. The integration of three separate rooms allows completely different usage requirements to be combined under one roof. A spacious main room is accessible via a wide double sliding door, allowing wide bicycles or a ride-on mower to be stored effortlessly. This area leads to a second, specialised room designed to store all the utensils needed for the ground floor flat. This arrangement ensures short distances and perfect organisation of the items needed directly on the terrace.
The concept impressively demonstrates how a single building can serve as a fully-fledged replacement for missing basement rooms in multi-unit buildings. A third room at the rear has its own access and is reserved exclusively for the tenants of the upper floors. This clear structural separation allows each party within the property to use their own enclosed compartment for private storage. This well-thought-out segmentation promotes harmonious communal use of the outdoor area, while at the same time ensuring order and security for each party's property.
