When building a spacious garden shed, the question of planning permission is a key aspect of the planning process. As legal requirements can vary greatly from municipality to municipality and from city to city, we support our customers in clarifying these requirements. However, as we cannot provide any legally binding information, it is essential to obtain information about local conditions at an early stage. Guideline values such as a volume of thirty cubic metres or a floor area of fifteen square metres often serve as the threshold for a building permit. However, these thresholds depend heavily on the specific location and the applicable development plans.
If there is any uncertainty regarding the permit, we always recommend contacting the local building authority directly. To make this process as easy as possible for our customers, we provide detailed drawings. These technical documents enable rapid review and approval by the authorities, as all dimensions and details of the planned structure are clearly visible. This ensures that the new project in the garden is not only convincing in terms of design, but also has a secure legal foundation.
