In this project, the garden shed is specifically used as a pool equipment room. Instead of hiding the equipment in a cramped shaft, there is sufficient space inside for the pool builder to place the filter, control system and piping as required. For this purpose, a robust screen printing plate is mounted on the substructure, on which pipes and components can be neatly installed and later easily accessed again.
To the left of the pool equipment shed, a separate foundation has been provided for the heat pump. This ensures that the unit is stable, easily accessible and remains out of direct view from the terrace. Technology, maintenance routes and appearance are clearly separated from each other – without compromising on function or usability.
The Tuscan design blends quietly into the garden and picks up on the muted tones of wood, stone and plants. The technical room appears as a clear structure that bundles all the pool technology without looking like a classic technical cabinet or plastic container.
The interior is designed so that the house can be soundproofed and insulated after the technology has been installed. In combination with a frost monitor, this creates a protected technical room that protects pumps, filters and controls from cold and moisture and significantly reduces noise towards the garden. This turns the compact garden shed into a long-term, maintenance-friendly solution for all pool technology.
