This cladding is designed to reliably protect a large heat pump from the weather – especially hail, wind and driving rain. This is particularly important for exposed outdoor installations: the technology needs to work, but at the same time it is a component that is visible and audible. A clean enclosure tidies up the area, softens the appearance of the device and protects the surface and sensitive areas from direct exposure to weather and environmental influences.
Ease of maintenance was also important here. For servicing, the two elements with the slats on the rear are loosened and removed with a total of six screws. The cover can then be pulled straight forward over the device. This means that the heat pump can be operated from all sides without having to "work your way through" narrow openings. The process takes around 15 minutes – this provides maximum flexibility for maintenance and repair without compromising protection in everyday use.
