This wood storage unit shows how storing firewood can become a design statement in outdoor areas. The designer wood storage unit has been placed directly against the wall of the house. In anthracite, the slim module (130 cm wide, 40 cm deep) blends in perfectly. It looks less like a functional object and more like a high-quality façade element that picks up on the vertical lines of the house and frames the rustic firewood neatly and aesthetically.
In addition to its visual appeal, the wood storage unit also offers impressive functional advantages. Made from robust HPL, the construction is completely weatherproof and maintenance-free, meaning that it will retain its colour for decades without ever needing to be repainted. The construction is designed to allow the wood to rest in ideal ventilation conditions, guaranteeing fast and even drying. Whether freestanding as a privacy screen or, as here, as a space-saving wall solution, this project proves that practicality and sophisticated design go hand in hand in the modern garden.
