After a garden shed was installed in 2017, there was a need for an additional, narrow storage system directly in the entrance area. A vertical tall cabinet was installed, which, with a width of 98 cm and a depth of only 65 cm, fits exactly into the existing paved area. This equipment cabinet is primarily used to store car accessories, care products and smaller garden tools that need to be quickly accessible. Thanks to its precise dimensions, the limited space in the front garden is used optimally without restricting the walkways between the house wall and the parking space. The simple white decor ensures that the body blends unobtrusively into the modern façade design.
During construction, particular emphasis was placed on material durability, as the furniture is completely exposed to the elements. The use of HPL ensures that the weatherproof outdoor tool cabinet remains dimensionally stable and colourfast even under intense UV radiation and frost. In contrast to conventional solutions, the surface is extremely scratch-resistant and easy to clean, which is a great advantage, especially in the dust-prone area of the house entrance. The cabinet doors close flush and reliably protect the contents from driving rain and dirt. This functional addition creates lasting order and, with its clear geometry, underlines the neat overall impression of the entrance.
