A solution was implemented in Castrop-Rauxel that demonstrates how flexibly modern outdoor structures can be adapted to difficult terrain. Since one side of the property tapers to a point, the basic shape of the building was not designed to be rectangular. This designer tool shed makes use of the existing angles without wasting space in the driveway. This customised design ensures that the structure fits perfectly into the boundary development and forms a functional unit despite its unusual geometry.
In addition to the technical adaptation, the project also makes a clear visual statement. While many outdoor structures are kept in neutral grey tones, this design in a bold red proves that colour and minimalism can harmonise. The clear design language ensures that the colourful shade does not appear restless, but rather enhances the entrance area as a design element. This designer tool shed thus functions not only as a practical storage space, but also as a deliberate eye-catcher that complements the appearance of the house and enhances the entrance to the property.
